18 Karat Mokume Gane Inlaid Band
Mokume gane is a beautiful metalsmith technique. Developed in Japan and typically used in swords, this technique has been applied widely to jewelry. In order to obtain the pattern, sheets of metal, in this case white gold, yellow gold, palladium and sterling silver, are rolled thin then soldered. With time, the colors will develop a patina, which will accentuate the colors even more.
After making a series of cuff bracelets using mokume gane, Marsha and I designed and crafted this gents' ring. It turned out incredible. It is heavy; we used solid 18 karat rose gold for the sleeve around the mokume gane piece. It is wide at 11.6 mm but fits very comfortably. There are a few ways to customize this ring if you should choose including different mokume gane patterns, widths of the entire band, and materials.

What I Believe
Marsha and I specialize in working with you to create your perfect piece. We design and craft jewelry to your style not the other way around. Jewelry should be customized for you.
Jewelry is tangle. Metals wear differently, sizes fit differently, and colors radiate differently. Buying local allows you to learn the difference and select appropiately.
Whether goldsmithing, platinumsmithing, or diamond setting, the beauty depends on how well it is crafted. Our experience, size, and connection to our patrons means we deliver the top quality jewelry.
Unfortunately, scams are all too commonplace in jewelry. Overcharging or ridiculously overcharging are standard. I sell beautiful, top-quality jewelry at fair and honest prices.
